As well as supporting educational growth, the well-being of our pupils is a core part of the care we provide. The College is staffed by a full-time school nurse who provides health related services for all pupils throughout the day.
We work in partnership with the VPS Healthcare group one of the largest private healthcare companies in the UAE and the nurse is registered and licensed with Dubai Health Authority (DHA). The nurse provides first aid, administers medicine and, if necessary, refers pupils to medical practitioners or emergency services. They work with doctors and parents to manage the health of pupils who have chronic conditions such as asthma and diabetes.
The nurse also conducts weight, height and vision screening and co-ordinates the vaccination programme.
