Pupils in the upper Prep and Senior Schools are allocated to one of the College Houses. Each House is co-educational and is led by a Housemaster or Housemistress. Each year group has a Tutor who is responsible for the immediate day-to-day organisation of pupils and who helps monitor and guide pastoral and academic progress.

Each House develops its own ethos and spirit, and there are plenty of opportunities for all pupils to represent their House in a wide range of events and activities, from singing to swimming and entrepreneurship to Tug-o-War. In particular, there are a large number of non-sporting events, alongside a wide range of traditional House sports competitions.

The College allocates new pupils to Houses in such a way as to spread their wide range of backgrounds, skills and talents in a uniform way.
